No sew fabric Christmas ornament

There are many tutorials available to make these ornaments. I used this one from YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OB9S-rxIe6w. I edited this pattern a bit because I wanted to add a picture to the front. Using a picture means adding one larger piece of fabric rather than the four triangles. So, I adapted the pattern just a bit. I followed the directions in the tutorial and designated the first half of the ornament as the back. Then, I placed my picture in the center of the unfinished half of the styrofoam ball. First, I pinned the four corners. Next, I trimmed, smoothed, and pinned the rest of the picture edges. Using the lines created on the back half of the ornament as guidelines i pinned the front of the ornament following the tutorial's instructions for the second and third layers.

Quickie crochet scrunchie

I made this scrunchie using a free pattern download from Ravelry. http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/quickie-flower-scrunchie
I used "I Love This Cotton!" Aqua ombre which is worsted weight along with a size C hook.  It works up very quickly and adds a nice touch of color to a simple scrunchie. The only variation I used was to increase the original numbers of sc stitches around the hair scrunchie band. I did so because the number of stitches the pattern called for didn't come close to covering the band.

Halloween "candy corn" crochet headband

I was at Joann's and found this fun and furry yarn that is self-striping AND candy corn colors....Score!
I used a regular plastic headband that I stol....borrowed from my goddaughter.
I simply crocheted single crochet stitches around the band using a G hook until the band was covered.
Some glue at the edges of the band will ensure the yarn does not slip off the band.
Very simple, very quick crochet project :)

This headband was made with the same technique. I used #5 variegated thread.
